ZeltaCode is seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring high performance, security, and code quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions that power modern digital products.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel
Build clean, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs
Write well-structured, reusable, and maintainable code
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Implement database schemas, migrations, and complex queries
Perform code reviews and enforce best development practices
Identify, debug, and resolve application issues
Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical documentation
Mentor junior developers and support team growth
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
4–6+ years of professional experience in PHP development
Strong hands-on experience with Laravel framework
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs
Experience with Laravel ecosystem tools (Eloquent ORM, Queues, Jobs, Events, Middleware)
Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
Experience with API integrations and third-party services
Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
